This page explains how to request deletion of your Medisuperior account and the data associated with it, what is removed, what we may retain, and how long the process takes. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Any account holder — a clinic or pharmacy owner, doctor, or staff member who signed up for the Service — may request deletion of their account and personal account data. If you are an owner requesting deletion of an entire clinic or pharmacy workspace, the request will affect the operational records created under that workspace, so please confirm you have the authority to make that request on behalf of your organisation.
Send an email to lokeshkachchhawa@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account, using the subject line “Account and Data Deletion Request”. In the message, please tell us:
You may alternatively call or WhatsApp us on +91 97942 84884. No login is required to make a request.
To protect against unauthorised deletion of healthcare data, we confirm that the request comes from the registered account holder before we act. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account (for example, by confirming details from within the account or replying from the registered email). We will not action a deletion we cannot reasonably verify.
When we complete a verified deletion request, we remove the personal and operational data tied to your account, which may include:
After a deletion request, a limited amount of data may be retained for a short period where the law requires it or where we have a legitimate need. This can include:
Retained data is limited to what is necessary, is protected by the same safeguards described in our Privacy Policy, and is deleted or anonymised once the applicable retention period ends.
Where a clinic, hospital or pharmacy (the “Provider”) uses the Service to record patient details, the Provider is the controller of those patient records and Medisuperior acts as a processor on their behalf. If you are a patient, please contact the clinic or pharmacy that holds your records to exercise deletion rights, as they control that data. When a Provider deletes their workspace, associated patient records are handled as part of that deletion, subject to the legal retention requirements above.
We acknowledge deletion requests promptly and aim to complete verified deletions within 30 days. Where a longer period is unavoidable — for example, removing data from backups — we will complete it as part of our normal backup cycle. Data retained for legal, tax or accounting reasons is deleted or anonymised once its required retention period expires.
