01Who can request deletion

Any account holder — a clinic or pharmacy owner, doctor, or staff member who signed up for the Service — may request deletion of their account and personal account data. If you are an owner requesting deletion of an entire clinic or pharmacy workspace, the request will affect the operational records created under that workspace, so please confirm you have the authority to make that request on behalf of your organisation.

02How to request deletion

Send an email to lokeshkachchhawa@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account, using the subject line “Account and Data Deletion Request”. In the message, please tell us:

  • Your name and the email address / phone number on the account.
  • Your clinic or pharmacy name (if applicable).
  • Whether you want your individual account removed, or the entire workspace and its records.

You may alternatively call or WhatsApp us on +91 97942 84884. No login is required to make a request.

03What we verify

To protect against unauthorised deletion of healthcare data, we confirm that the request comes from the registered account holder before we act. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account (for example, by confirming details from within the account or replying from the registered email). We will not action a deletion we cannot reasonably verify.

04What gets deleted

When we complete a verified deletion request, we remove the personal and operational data tied to your account, which may include:

  • Your account and profile information — name, email address, phone number, role and sign-in credentials.
  • Clinic or pharmacy configuration, staff accounts and settings created under your workspace (for a full-workspace deletion).
  • Operational records you created in the Service — such as appointments and tokens, prescriptions, lab orders and results, inventory and purchase records, and invoices and payments — subject to the retention exceptions below.
  • Uploaded images and files, such as scanned purchase bills or prescriptions stored in the Service.

05What we retain, and why

After a deletion request, a limited amount of data may be retained for a short period where the law requires it or where we have a legitimate need. This can include:

  • Financial and tax records — invoices, payments and GST-related records that we are legally required to keep for accounting, tax and audit purposes for the period set by applicable law.
  • Records needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our Terms.
  • Backup copies, which are removed on our normal backup-expiry cycle.

Retained data is limited to what is necessary, is protected by the same safeguards described in our Privacy Policy, and is deleted or anonymised once the applicable retention period ends.

06Patient records

Where a clinic, hospital or pharmacy (the “Provider”) uses the Service to record patient details, the Provider is the controller of those patient records and Medisuperior acts as a processor on their behalf. If you are a patient, please contact the clinic or pharmacy that holds your records to exercise deletion rights, as they control that data. When a Provider deletes their workspace, associated patient records are handled as part of that deletion, subject to the legal retention requirements above.

07Timeframe

We acknowledge deletion requests promptly and aim to complete verified deletions within 30 days. Where a longer period is unavoidable — for example, removing data from backups — we will complete it as part of our normal backup cycle. Data retained for legal, tax or accounting reasons is deleted or anonymised once its required retention period expires.
